Water Carrier

A new take on a classic stable

Individual work completed in the course Products Studio 1.

This project emphasized exploring physical form and context through designing a water carrier. My primary goal was to design a water carrier that would suit the needs of a college student. This meant creating something that would fit well in a bag with other flat items and stand up on a desk.

Process

To design the form of the bottle, I sketched and modeled forms using clay and foam. In addition, I referenced existing designs such as the memo bottle.
