The Cardboard Project

Hi. Whoever is reading this, congrats! You’ve made it to my favorite one :)

Our prompt was to create a structure out of cardboard (and only cardboard), that evoked the walk of a chosen animal while supporting its passenger a few inches above the ground. Any viable solution needed to be practical and precise, requiring an understanding of physics and engineering as well as a love for sculpture and craft.

This project came at the very start of my time at Carnegie, and I am still deeply proud of it. I have one of the arms to this day.
